22.3.12

Hey Guys,

After some very confusing gps directions my brother Cameron and I have arrived in Sierra Nevada, Spain. Today we are going to check out the mountain and tomorrow practice starts!

I am super excited to be representing Australia at Junior World cup for the 3rd year in a row at this event. I will be competing in both Slopestyle and Halfpipe so keep watching for some updates.

Here is an edit of our 6 hour trip from Madrid to Sierra Nevada.... Enjoy

After my recent result at World cup I was invited onto the Sports Vault team. Of course I couldn't say no to such a great website, so I am now the newest member of the team!

Checkout my profile on the website.

I'd like to thank Matt at sports Vault for this awesome opportunity!!

I am now back riding, after my MRI we found that I had only bruised some bones in my hand. Which is great news, I still need a splint for 6 weeks but thats much better than surgery. I have started my training for Junior worlds and am getting really excited for the event!! I leave for New York on the 15th to have a holiday with my Family then get to Madrid on the 20th.

I'll keep you updated with my results.

28.2.12

Hey Guys,

I have some good news and bad news.
The good news is my first world cup experience was amazing. Stoneham had a great course, Quebec was a beautiful city and our hotel was awesome.

On my first day of training I took a hard knuckle coming down on my hand hard. It had swollen up a fair bit, but I didnt think much of it. By the time contest day came around a snow storm had arrived, but I didnt let that effect me. I ended up winning my heat and took the third highest score for the day! I was straight through to finals. Yet finals day was full of wind and after a difficult practice I wasnt ale to put down the run I wanted. I finished in 6th place which I am really happy with!

The bad news is my hand is now in a splint, I have a fractured ring finger and the doctor suspects I have broken bone in my hand. I got an MRI this morning and am waiting on the results now. I am hoping to be back on snow in the next week to start training for Junior World cup held in Spain this March.

I'll keep you posted with my recovery!

18.1.12

Hey everyone!

I have been having a great season, learning lots of new tricks and loving Colorado. The beginning of my travels kicked of last week with a trip to Cali, competing in the Burton Protest in Mammoth and the Rev Tour in Tahoe. After not having a great practice in Mammoth I ended up missing out on finals by one place finishing 7th overall. We then headed to Northstar for the Rev, I had a great few days coming 10th in pipe and landing my slope run on Practice day. Unfortunately I couldn't pull off the run in contest though!

After my trip I am now sitting 19th in the TTR world standings which I am pretty happy with, but hoping to improve with my next trip to Canada for the Open!

I made a quick edit of my Cali trip so check it out!
